The webpage says my model will only work with Sprint/Verizon, but I have XXXX. Will it work with my carrier as well? No, IF a carrier is specified, then the software is built for that carrier only. Even if your phone looks the same, the firmware inside is different, and the software will not work properly. This is the cae for most CDMA carriers such as Verizon, Alltel, Sprint, MetroPCS, Qwest and others. For thos with GSM providers, such as Cinglar, T-Mobile, AT&T, Rogers, FIDO, then the software should work across carriers.
Will the software work with the Mac OS? Unfortunately the software is not compatible with the mac OS.
What are the requirements of the software? The software requires a Windows PC or laptop running Millennium, XP, or 2000. The software is NOT compatible with MAC OS, Windows 98 or 98SE (except where noted), Windows 95, or Windows NT.
How long does it take for my package to arrive? This depends on which shipping option you choose. Standard shipments average 4-8 business days for delivery and for those that need their packages sooner, we offer 2nd day air and overnight shipping. International shipping varies by country. Please ask for details.
Does it cost money to transfer ringtones/wallpapers/games to my phone? No, it does not. Once you have the cable, you will have a direct link to your phone and there is no charge to transfer data back and forth to your phone.
Do I have to be conected to the internet for this cable to work? No, you do not. The cable and software connect directly to your phone and do not require any internet connections or GPRS charges.
How much is shipping? Within the USA, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico - Standard shipping is $5.95 with 4-8 day average delivery times and Express Shipping begins at 11.95 for 2nd day air. For Canada, shipping is $15.95 via DHL Express, which offers delivery in about 1-2 business days. .All other countries - Shipping is $14.95, does not include tracking, and averages 5-15 days for delivery. Some countries (Australia, for example) tend to take longer.All shipping times are averages and are not guaranteed.
I do not see my model listed, but there is a model close to mine. Will it work with mine? Typically the answer is no, it will not work. Please e-mail Service@CellCables.com to confirm.
What all is included in your package? The package will include the cable, drivers, software, and the Bonus CD. (Very few models do not support ringtones and wallpapers, and in this case no Bonus CD is included. These models are noted on the web page).
Does your package come with everything I need or do I need to buy more stuff? Everything you need to do what is stated on the web page is included in your package. You will not need to purchase anything further from us or anyone else.
Is there any warranty with this cable package?
Yes, all cables have a 1-year warranty against defects. If a cable has problems within this 1-year period, it may be shipped back for a free replacement.
Can I just buy the software, as I already have a cable? For Motorola models phones, check your specidic model page for the software/Bonus CD packages. For all other model phones, unfortunately the software is not available by itself.. Our cables for the Mobile Action data cable paclages come with a special security chip and the software will not function with other cables. This measure prevents users from being able to copy the software illegally.
